Primary school “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” ,v. Skravena is implementing project № 2020-1-BG01-KA201-079295, entitled “reOPEN”, funded by the Erasmus + Program, Key Activity 2: Strategic Partnerships. The project implementation period is 36 months – from 01.09.2020 to 31.08.2023. The maximum amount of the grant – 100% grant is: 344 570 euros.
The reOPEN project is a strategic partnership between educational institutions representing the full range of basic general education services, which aims to achieve a complete educational change by implementing innovation at the global level. Educational professionals from Bulgaria, Turkey and Poland, as well as associate partners from Germany and France create, implement and disseminate an innovative pedagogical educational approach and open educational products aimed at stimulating the social inclusion of learners by encouraging group work and facilitating access, the participation and learning outcomes of disadvantaged learners, including through the application of ICT technologies. Using the intellectual product of the previous OPEN initiative, the reOPEN initiative sets itself the task of overcoming the main vicissitudes facing the new modern schools around the world, namely the lack of an information base with materials for the application of Frenet and the lack of key pedagogical competencies.
Coordinator – Primary School “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” – Skravena, Bulgaria
Primary school “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” was established on 01.09.1820. During its century-long history, the Coordinator has gained experience in working with primary and lower secondary school students from different social groups, using approaches to dialogue and cooperation for parental involvement. The school has a dynamically developing learning environment – digital classrooms with multimedia screens and cloud educational tools, server unit and equipped computer room, hall with material and technical means for all-day organization of the school day, multimedia hall, equipment for virtual reality, 3D printers for visualization of virtual reality objects, etc. The team of the Coordinator consists of 12 pedagogues, providing training sessions for 115 students in primary and lower secondary education.

Center for support of personal development – Botevgrad, Bulgaria
CSPD Botevgrad was opened on 01.12.2017. with Order №ОА-614 / 01.12.2017 of the Mayor of Botevgrad Municipality. As an innovative organizational form, the only one of its kind in the Republic of Bulgaria, its activity is directly developed on a project principle, aimed at covering in full the persons with special needs. The correct planning of the activity contributes to the achievement of quality resource support – the preparation of hourly schedules, the definition of the form of support, of specific goals and tasks and of the areas in which the specialized support should be carried out. The learning environment consists of large, bright and spacious 3 resource rooms, in which the space is organized thematically – ball pool, soft Montessori modules, therapeutic bed and relaxing poufs, puzzles and games for coordination of movements, thinking, memory and motor skills, teacher’s room, equipped with an interactive board for the training of teachers and students, workshop-workshop, where thematic materials are prepared for all holidays by children from all over the municipality, under the guidance of the specialists of the Center.

The main initiatives are by providing a bridge between practitioners with proven experience and the educational environment. Interaction practices are mostly digital educational channels, educational seminars, communication with web-based platforms. The experts deal with activities such as training seminars and strategies for dissemination and sustainability.

Şehit Harun Turhan Ortaokulu /Yenikent Ilksan Ortaokulu/ – Turkey
Public school providing primary and lower secondary education. Established in 2006, the school has been operating in the Sinjan region of Ankara, the capital of Turkey, since 2007. As an official public school, it is directly subordinated to the Turkish Ministry of Education. It is located 40 kilometers from the center of Ankara, and the service area of the school attracts workers with the available developed light industry, which leads to an influx of students. An average of 2,800 primary school students are enrolled stage and in the junior high school stage. For the implementation of the pedagogical practice the school has pedagogical staff – 57 teachers in primary school and 58 – in junior high school.
